Well March came in roaring like a lion and has been roaring every day. The nights had started to be warmer, but last night was back to winter temperatures. Oh how the wind has been blowing, one of the main reasons I don't like the month of March other than my birthday is on the 31st.

I keep hoping that surely we will have at least one pretty day that is warm and no wind so that I can get out and get my yard picked up after my dogs, was kind of hard to do while the grass was still so soggy. At least with the wind don't have that to worry about, but trying to work in the wind can be totally miserable so I stay in and look out.

The first thing after the 1st of April will be to get my frost free faucet replaced. This is the 3rd one in 15 years and I'm going back to the old fashioned kind this time. Enough is Enough. I have found a 16 year old who is strong and healthy, isn't afraid of work and he will do all of the digging so am looking at a Sat. to have work done, perhaps around April 11th. Not sure yet who will be doing the actual plumbing part.

I think I will dig out my Easter stuff tomorrow and get decorated as Easter will be here before we know it. Ber gets to have her birthday on Easter this year. The last time my birthday fell on Easter I have a friend that did the Easter basket thing for my birthday. It was so much fun.

I'm hoping to get out and start doing some Sunday PM drives after the middle part of the month and see how the surrounding areas survived the winter months.

My 50th class reunion banquet will be held on the 22nd of August. Cole scanned my retirement picture for me and cropped into a 3 X 5, e-mailed to me and I have already submitted to the reunion committee as they plan on doing a CD of pictures and whatever verbiage that we submit to them. Don't know if I'll attend the picnic or not, just depends on how hot it is that time of the year as I can't deal with the heat anymore and it is to be held at the American Legion campground up the Dolores River.
