Where oh where does time go to?
Truly seems like just yesterday when the girls and their children where here.
This will be the 3rd year in a row now that we will have a white Christmas. Which rarely happens. We usually have snow in October and around Thanksgiving and then nothing else until January. We had at least 8 inches out of the last storm (around the 7th of the month) and we have another one predicted for tomorrow, tomorrow night and then moving out sometime on Wed. After the last storm had passed my neighbor Joshua Robinson plowed out my pickup and the whole half moon driveway and then right up to the garage door. Wouldn't take anything for it, but I fixed his little red wagon as I bought a nice Christmas gift for him and his family. I also purchased a Christmas gift for my oxygen supply man and wife as he has done several things for me, like he totally cleaned my concentrator on the inside and would not charge me for it. So this is the perfect time of the year to remember these people that do all of the extra special things for you.
A note of interest for everyone I find it quite strange that Stucko lost her hard drive on the laptop, then my sister-in-law and now that is what was wrong with my laptop. Makes you wonder what kind of bugs there are out there and how do we get them. I'm quite happy to say that my laptop is well and fixed at a very reasonable price.
As some of you know I came down hard with diverticulitis at about 1:30 AM Dec. 10th, took myself to the hospital at about 3:30 AM or there abouts, they did blood work up and a CT scan to make their determination, released me at about 7:30 AM and had me call a neighbor to come pick me up because of the heavy pain medication. Was bascially out of it for 4 days and nights so I truly got behind on Christmas cards and other Christmas things. No candies or cookies this year but in the long run that is a good thing, so no harm has really been done.
I think I'm ready for this next storm. I went to the grocery store today, got gas (just in case), and purchased additional bird seed for all of the wonderful birds that I have been feeding this winter. God's creatures are really something to behold and I have had all kinds of beautiful birds this winter to take care of.
To all of you faithful readers A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!
