FALL

Fall is in the air.

When I came home yesterday I noticed that the trees here in town are starting the fall color change. Where oh where has the summer gone too!

This has been a very, very busy summer. Ber and Miss Pickle have been up several times and I have certainly enjoyed their company. On one visit Ber set up my Web Cam for me so that I can visit on line with all of the family members. Stuco and I visited for quite a bit this last Sat. AM. This is so cool to be able to talk and see one another at the same time.

My friend Dayna and I have continued our day trips from Cortez. There is so much to see and do and still be in your own bed that night. Our next scheduled trip is October 5th and we plan on doing quite a few this winter. We will go south to Monument Valley, Halls Crossing and all of those neat places.

I had my physical done yesterday and all of these exercises the doctor has had me doing have really paid off. So with the excellent report that I received yesterday I will continue to do the exercises. I have found that if I do first thing of the morning before the rest of my day starts I will get them done. After the hip replacement I got up at 5:00 AM, did exercises and then did breakfast and got ready for work. Can you believe that has been 10 years ago this coming December that I had that surgery done. So I'm using the same principal now, not getting up at 5:00 but doing the exercises the very first thing and all has worked out real well.

For the past two weeks now the mornings have been being real chilly and then by the end of the day it is usually about 83 degrees. Hope all is well with each and every one of you.
