SUMMER FUN

I must say the last three weeks have been so full of interesting things to do, places to go that I am enjoying this summer to no end.

Back in June I took a friend of mine up to Vallecito Lake for her birthday. We were gone all day and what an adventure we did have. Then the same friend came by on the 9th of July at 6:00 AM to pick me up and we did the Loop Trip. We spent quite a bit of time in Silverton. We had breakfast at a really cool cafe, did some shops and then watched the first train come in. None of the same shops are in town like what were there when Amber, Chris and I made the last trip so it was very, very interesting. Then we traveled on to Ouray where we had ice cream and once again the shop we were all use too is no more. Different shop entirely.

Then another day went to Farmington with another friend and we spent the day. The rest of the month has been busy with lunches, company, birthday parties, weddings.

Oh the fun I have had.

Anyway this week I am playing catch up here at the house. Didn't realize one person could generate so much laundry. Tomorrow I have to get yard mowed and some of that stuff done. Will be a good day for it as the sprinkler system will come on tonight.

To work outside I have been getting up at 5:00 AM to be outside by 7:00 AM and even at that the heat has been driving me in by 11:00 A.M., I know, I know it isn't as hot as AZ weather, but this elevation and 97 degrees with the humidity it just flat does you in.

This weekend is Mancos Days and I may go over there for awhile and see who I might run into that I know.
