EASTER WEEKEND

Easter Sunday turned out to be a real nice day after having been sick on Sat. Spent the day in the Durango area, revisiting memories from my youth. Like -- Grandad Stuckmans little old house has been remodeled and if you didn't know for sure you would think it had been torn down. It has sort of a cedar shakes on the sides, propanel roof and really looks nice. I would like to see the inside. Went up the old highway towards Trimble, I haven't been that way in years and then on up to Purgatory (Durango Mtn.) and how many Easters do you see the slopes covered with skiers and snow boarders. Between Needles and Purgatory the houses on the West side of the highway have snow half way up the sides, and you can just now see a dot of fences posts starting to poke thru from snow settlement. I praised the Lord for giving me such a fullfilling day after feeling the way I did Sat. Went in to have my lung test done this AM and had to be rescheduled until Fri. because equipment wasn't working. So I have paid a few bills and can't get into the mood to do anything else for the blasted wind is blowing again.

Sounds like a great day! Wish I'd known you were headed that direction. I could sure use a nice jar of honey apple butter from Honeyville!

It's great to hear there is still so much snow...the summer will be beautiful!!!
