I forgot to mention in the blog just posted, but my banner does not do the Old Ute justice today as it is truly beautiful all wrapped up in it's snow blanket.
Also I finally got the more interesting birds at the feeders this AM. Pine Siskins, Junkos, House Finches (haven't had any Gold Finches yet, but they could still be working the sunflowers out around Dove Creek), they will get here eventually though and they are more fun to watch.

ah...snow!
Nice yo can tell who's at the feeder, I can't tell one pigeon from another!
: )
Upon my arrival in the evening of 11/12 the snow on the Ute and on the North side of the Mesa, which we enjoy from our south facing windows there is a "glistening in the moonlight" - ah from the desert to this is one afternoon's drive - marvelous - look forward to a nice week here at the farm, watering and doing a few chores before the bite of winter arrives.
