Since my last post the holidays have come and gone once again.
Christmas was really wonderful this year and our 4th Christmas in a row that was white, which as a rule is totally unheard of in my part of the world. Attended several Christmas parties and plays. The last of my "little" friends goes into middle school this fall so unless I make some new "little" friends the school plays will be a thing of the past. 5 wonderful years of school plays and other activities.
Last summer and fall were also very enjoyable with 2 of my nieces being home in July and then the other one was also back in September. My life has been being very, very busy. As of this post I have not been on the computer for a full week. Did a fast scan of e-mails earlier to see if there was anything I needed to take care of. I'll get to the others later on.
I have been working on a full house deep cleaning since about the 1st of October I believe and I have made a pretty good head way, but still a number of things have to be done. Most will probably go on the back burner as I will be helping with a large yard sale to benefit a couple that live in Montrose. The wife is terminal, unfortunately they don't have any insurance and the medical bills are out of site and we are all hoping that the proceeds from the yard sale will help them just a little bit. The husband is the son of my very dear friends and they have initated the yard sale.
When I worked I don't know how I found time to do anything as I always have something going on now that I'm retired. Dayna and I had to put our day trips on the back burner because of her out of state company and then me mine. We hope to get back to this come spring as it is so much fun.
All is well all is good. The Lord has truly blessed me.
