Week Ending 04-04-08 - What a Week

Well as you all know Monday was my 68th birthday and what a good one it was. My friend Dayna took me to lunch at the Main Book Co., I went to the Casino played for a bit and made some money plus getting back what I had put into the machine, got my birthday points. My birthday celebration moved on into Tue. being with ones that I couldn't be with Monday. Yesterday was finally the day I have been waiting for all winter long. It was beautifull, got up to 60 degrees, there was a slight wind, just enough to keep you from getting to hot, and I got started on yard work. Today I had lab work done, did some cleaning in my 1 shed, gave some stuff away and have a Drs. appt. at 3 PM. Tomorrow I hope to work in the yard, but we will see. It is suppose to rain today & tomorrow. The Lord has truly given me a wonderful week with wonderful friends. I'm truly blessed and very fortunate. Life is Good, Life is Great and I'm loving every minute of this retirement scene.
